The Campus Cyberinfrastructure (CI) Days initiative was initially funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF). These events at research universities across the country sought to advance understanding of, planning for, and implementation of cyberinfrastructure in the participating institutions.
The CI Days program was organized and supported by a consortium of associations working to advance use of information technology in research and higher education, including:
- Minority-Serving Institution Cyberinfrastructure Empowerment Coalition (MSI-CIEC)
- National LambdaRail
- Open Science Grid
