SAS OnDemand, a cloud-hosted version of the well-known SAS statistical package, has recently become available in an educational-use, cloud pay-as-you-go format. This current version is only for teaching and learning related activities and is available to instructors, and also to students enrolled in the participating class.

In September 2011 SAS plans to expand the OnDemand offering to research. The SAS company is currently soliciting feedback from researchers to help design a useful SAS implementation on the SAS cloud. If you would like to give your input regarding a SAS OnDemand service for research, please fill out the survey at the link below.

Furthermore, U-M is considering extending its existing SAS licensing by adding SAS OnDemand, most likely at little or no cost to end users.  If you choose to complete the survey, you will be asked first to complete an SAS website profile.
